Our session in January session
Title Pelvic Health
This month we will have Melissa Gaul who is a Holistic Core Restore ® coach, Hypopressives coach and massage therapist with nearly two decades of experience supporting women through all stages of life. Her work focuses on whole-body pelvic health, combining functional movement, breathwork, hands-on therapy, and education to help women feel strong, confident, and connected to their bodies. Melissa has a particular passion for supporting women through perimenopause and menopause, helping them navigate physical changes with clarity, compassion, and practical tools that fit into real life.
Pelvic Health in Midlife – Perimenopause & Menopause
This workshop explores how pelvic health changes during perimenopause and menopause and why a whole-body approach is essential during this stage of life. As hormones fluctuate, many women experience symptoms such as bladder changes, pelvic floor weakness or tension, prolapse symptoms, painful sex, low back or hip pain, and a loss of confidence in movement — yet these issues are rarely spoken about openly.
In this session, we will cover:
How hormonal changes in perimenopause and menopause affect the pelvic floor, connective tissue, and nervous system
Common pelvic health symptoms in midlife (and why they are common but not inevitable)
The importance of breath, posture, and daily movement habits for pelvic health
Understanding pelvic floor strength and relaxation — moving beyond “just doing Kegels”
How stress, holding patterns, and lifestyle factors impact pelvic health in midlife
Practical, gentle strategies to support bladder control and core function
Building body awareness, confidence, and trust in movement during this transitional phase
The workshop aims to educate, empower, and normalise conversations around pelvic health, offering women simple, realistic tools to support their bodies through midlife and beyond.
Let’s make sure it’s the first one. Come join us for a relaxed, informative session that could genuinely change how you feel in your own body.
