Black Month Histor: Art Competition

To all the female artists connected in and around Waltham Forest, we invite you to our first ever art competition.

With the creative industry being one of the most negatively impacted due to Covid-19, we decided to pull together and organise an art competition in collaboration with it being related to Black History Month. WFWN invites you to submit a piece of artwork with emphasis placed on the themes ‘Black History Month’ and ‘Inspirational Black Women’ . The artwork can include:

• Paintings

• Collages

• Drawings

• 3D Models

• Photographs

• Digital Art

The aim is to encourage young girls and women to showcase their talent and create something unique which will later be shared on our website and social media platforms. This competition is open to all females, of all ages in Waltham Forest so unleash your creative side!

Submission

When submitting, please include the following:

• Full Name

• Date of Birth*

• Email Address

• Home Address (in order to receive your prize)

• A summary of what your work is about and what it represents

*please ensure if you are under 18, you have obtained permission from your parent/guardian before submitting

The winner will be announced on the 27th of November 2020, and prizes will be awarded to the top 3 artists.
